Job summary

City of Lancaster, Texas seeks a Foreman II – Waste Water to supervise the Water/Wastewater department's operation, maintenance and repair tasks. You will oversee multiple crews, coordinate with contractors, monitor budgets, and prepare reports to ensure regulatory compliance and service reliability.

The role requires certification credentials including Class B CDL and TCEQ licenses, plus strong leadership and training abilities to guide staff and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Supervise the Water/Wastewater department staff and oversee crews responsible for sewer and water system work.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and TCEQ guidelines and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the W/WW Superintendent and supervises multiple crews in operation, maintenance and repair tasks.
• Monitors budget expenditures and prepares monthly purchasing card statements.
• Coordinates with contractors for large water/wastewater projects and oversees their completion.
• Reviews work orders and prepares state/divisional reports as required.
• Resolves citizen complaints regarding water and wastewater operations.
• Prepares biweekly payroll documentation and trains staff on W/WW operations and safety policies.
