Job summary

Sandia Resort & Casino is seeking a Utility Lab Level II to collect and analyze water and wastewater samples and assist with EPA reports. The role supports the Level III supervisor and maintains lab records and QA/QC compliance.

Responsibilities include sample collection, preparation of chemical agents, calibration of equipment, and data entry. Must have a high school diploma or GED and two years of lab experience; state certifications may be preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; two years’ laboratory experience in water or wastewater operations preferred.
• Familiarity with EPA methods and procedures for water/wastewater testing.
• Ability to review data, maintain records, and ensure QA/QC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, and preserve water and wastewater samples for chemical and biological properties.
• Prepare chemical agents and calibrate flow meters and monitoring equipment as required.
• Maintain operating records, inspection reports, and EPA QA/QC documentation.
