Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the Utility Lab Level II in Bernalillo, NM. You will assist the Level III, collect and analyze water and wastewater samples, and help prepare EPA reports and data entries.

We value integrity, teamwork, and accuracy, with a day shift and a hourly wage of $28.21 to $31.73. Two years of lab experience and a high school diploma are required, with NM driver’s license and background check as conditions of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; two years’ lab water/wastewater experience.
• Must possess NM Driver’s License; pass background check and drug screening.
• Wastewater Lab Tech II or Wastewater Systems IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and preserve water and wastewater samples.
• Prepare chemical agents and calibrate lab equipment as required by standards.
• Maintain records and EPA QA/QC reports; assist with EPA reports.
• Cross-train in water and wastewater operations; assist on duties as needed.
