City of Lewisville seeks a skilled water/wastewater plant operator to lead, operate, and maintain treatment facilities and SCADA systems, ensuring reliable water and wastewater services.

You will supervise crews, perform routine maintenance, conduct laboratory tests, and respond to chemical leaks with proper safety measures. The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years' related experience, and a Class B TCEQ license within one year.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience in water or wastewater treatment, electrical, mechanical, technical, general utility construction, or related field.
• License: Class B Water or wastewater Certificate of Competency from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) within one year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, operate, and monitor processing equipment and machinery.
• Train operators and supervise work performance.
• Initiate operating changes based on calculations and monitoring results.
• Oversee routine maintenance and inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Respond to hazardous chemical leaks and take appropriate safety actions.
