The City of Lewisville is seeking a Lead Water/Wastewater Plant Operator to manage and optimize the operation of water and wastewater facilities. You will oversee SCADA systems, perform routine maintenance, and ensure accurate lab analyses.

This role requires experience in water/wastewater treatment, leadership abilities, and a Class B license within a year. Night shifts and on-call work are possible with a step-based pay plan.”

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience in water or wastewater treatment or related field.
• Must possess Texas Class B Water or Wastewater Certificate within one year from hire.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License Class C with good driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, operate, and monitor processing equipment and machinery.
• Train and counsel Plant Operators on performance and tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of pumps, motors, drives, and related equipment.
• Maintain laboratory tests and records for water and wastewater facilities.
• Respond to hazardous chemical leaks and perform safety procedures.
• Collaborate with crews and supervise operations during shifts.
