Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a water/wastewater inspector with at least 5 years of field experience in water and sewer construction. The role involves inspecting water/wastewater systems, reviewing plans, and coordinating with engineers and project teams in municipal and county projects.

Responsibilities include on-site observations, meetings with clients and contractors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. An Equal Opportunity Employer. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction observation or construction experience directly related to water supply and distribution systems, sanitary sewer and wastewater treatment, and roadway construction.
• Must have computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform constructability and plan reviews prior to construction and coordinate with design engineers.
• Provide construction observation and management for water supply and sanitary distribution projects.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance with plans, specs, and regulatory requirements; report progress to the project manager daily.
• Attend and lead pre-construction and weekly progress meetings with client and contractor; issue RFIs to maintain schedule.
• Conduct on-site observations to verify work aligns with contract documents and coordinate with the engineering team.
