Job summary

Ardurra seeks a water/wastewater inspector to provide field inspection and project management services for municipal and county agencies in New Jersey. The role requires familiarity with gravity sanitary mains, pump stations, and water treatment plant components, with a minimum of five years in the field.

Responsibilities include conduct of site observations, coordinating meetings, reviewing payments with engineers, and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in water/wastewater inspections.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work with others and the public.
• Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform constructability and plan reviews prior to construction. Interact with the design engineer with input before the project goes out to bid.
• Perform construction management services for projects that consist of water supply and sanitary distribution systems.
• Provide inspection of contractors work to ensure that the work is being performed as per plans and specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Attend and run pre-construction & weekly progress meetings with the client and contractor and give input on issues that arise during construction.
