Job summary

Sundt Construction, Inc. in Tampa is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to assist the project team with technical information, drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders.

You will help prepare RFI's, meeting minutes, and submittals while maintaining productive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. The role includes growth through three steps (I, II, Senior) and requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent field experience

Qualifications

• Entry-level position that normally requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other tasks; reviews submittals, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Supports project plan execution and change management processes; assists in project scope activities.
• Provides coordination for BIM between Subcontractors and Designers.
• May assist with LEED documentation and ORD updates.
• Supports budget forecasting, quantity logs, and cost control activities.
• Assists superintendents and resolves field problems as needed.
