Job summary

Sundt Enterprise in Tampa, FL is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer assistant to support the project team with drawings, submittals, and change orders. You will help prepare RFIs, meeting minutes, and budgets while maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The role progresses through Step I, II, to Senior as skills grow, with emphasis on safety, quality, and coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Entry-level project support role requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and submittal processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and submittals.
• Support change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes, and cost forecasting.
• Support PMP and change management, contribute to project plan execution.
• Help administer the project quality management plan and uphold safety culture.
• Assist in calculating daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work.
• Support BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers.
• Assist in LEED certification documentation and ORD updates.
• Provide lines, grades, and layout as required; maintain logs.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control to meet approved budget.
