Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is hiring a Construction Engineering Inspector to assist engineers on Water/Wastewater and Utility projects in Fort Pierce, FL. The role emphasizes field inspections, contract support, and coordination with clients and contractors.

Ideal candidates will have a high school degree or higher, 3+ years in field projects, and ability to read plans. Travel within Florida is required; familiarity with FDOT specs is a plus.

Competenze

• High school degree/equivalent required.
• 3+ years of related field project experience.
• Ability to read plans and specifications and understand municipal/FDOT requirements.
• Willingness to travel within the state of Florida.

Mansioni

• Inspect water/wastewater, stormwater, utilities and related facilities to verify code compliance.
• Inspect roadway infrastructure including earthwork, asphalt, concrete and drainage.
• Provide field engineering and contract support on site and in office.
• Document inspections with daily reports and organized field files.
• Coordinate material testing to ensure conformance with specs.
• Perform field measurements for pay items and documentation.
