Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Construction Engineering Senior Inspector to support water/wastewater and utility construction projects. The role involves field inspections, documentation, and coordination with project teams.

This position requires 8+ years in the field, plan/spec reading, and travel within Florida; immigration sponsorship is limited to TN visa eligibility. The firm is 100% employee-owned with extensive multidisciplinary services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related field experience.
• Read and interpret plans and specs.
• Knowledge of municipal specifications (FDOT) and practices.
• Willing to travel within FL as needed.
• Client-required certifications.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular inspections of water/wastewater, stormwater, pump stations, utilities and related facilities construction projects.
• Document inspection activities with daily reports and maintain field files.
• Coordinate material testing and ensure materials meet project specs.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Manage field staff and support office engineering staff.
• Operate PMIS tools (e.g., Procore, eBuilder).
• Contribute to closeout activities and deficiency lists.
