Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) seeks a Construction Engineering Senior Inspector to support Water/Wastewater and Utility projects in Ft. Pierce, FL, performing field inspections and ensuring compliance with plans and codes.

The role requires 8+ years of related field experience, ability to read plans, travel within Florida, and coordination with clients, contractors, and design teams. This is a full-time, field-based position using PMIS tools such as Procore or eBuilder.

Qualifications

• High school degree/equivalent or better.
• 8+ years of related field experience.
• Familiarity with municipal specifications (e.g., FDOT).
• Able to read plans and specifications.
• Willing to travel within Florida as needed.
• Client required certifications.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular inspections of water/wastewater, stormwater, pump stations, utilities and related facilities construction projects to verify compliance with plans and codes.
• Inspect roadway infrastructure to verify compliance with plans and contract documents.
• Provide field engineering, construction management and contract support on site and in office.
• Document all inspection activities with daily reports and organized field files.
• Oversee material testing to ensure compliance with specs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and design teams and participate in project meetings.
• Prepare deficiency lists and final inspection reports.
