Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a Facility Operator to support our water production and wastewater facilities in the Fort Worth, TX area. You will help operate and maintain booster stations, distribution mains, valves, hydrants and lift stations, ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver's license, and appropriate licensing (FO1/FO2/FO3). Computer skills and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Licensing requirements for FO1/FO2/FO3 fulfilled or pursued as applicable.
• Basic computer and data entry skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment at water production facilities and booster stations.
• Operate and maintain distribution systems including mains, valves, hydrants.
• Maintain wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations.
• Troubleshoot sewer collection systems and related equipment.
• Perform routine water quality analysis and ensure compliance with standards.
• Update system documentation and complete service work orders.
• On-call availability for 24/7 operations.
