Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, seeks a Facility Operator to support water production, wastewater treatment, lift and booster stations, and distribution systems in Fort Worth, TX. You will perform routine quality analyses and adjust treatments to meet standards.

The role requires the appropriate licensing, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work on-call nights and weekends as part of a 24/7 operation. Training provided and safety first at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Minimum licenses: C Well or FO1; dual licensing for FO2; FO3 option.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment at water production facilities and booster stations.
• Operates and maintains distribution systems including mains, valves, hydrants.
• Maintains equipment at wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations.
• Operates sewer collection systems including mains and pump stations.
• Performs routine water quality analyses and adjusts treatment to meet standards.
• Completes customer service work orders and documents activities.
• On-call nights and weekends to support 24/7 operations.
