Job summary

Aqua, Inc. is seeking a Facility Operator to support water production facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, and distribution systems. You will perform routine analyses, adjust chemical treatments, and ensure compliance with state and federal water quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and maintain documentation. Travel to various site locations is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Familiarity with computers/tablets and basic office software.
• Ability to read, understand and follow operating instructions.
• Mathematical ability to perform ratios and dosages.
• Excellent written communication.
• Knowledge of preventing wastewater pollution.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water production facilities and booster stations.
• Operate and maintain distribution systems including mains, valves, hydrants and service lines.
• Maintain wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations.
• Operate and maintain sewer collection systems including mains and pump stations.
• Troubleshoot and repair service piping and related equipment.
• Perform routine water quality analyses per established processes.
