Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Group Lead - Water/Wastewater to guide our Puget Sound facilities practice from Seattle, Bellevue, or Tacoma with a hybrid work setup.

The role drives business development, leads complex projects, mentors staff, and strengthens Ardurra’s regional presence with a focus on treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations for municipal, industrial, and private clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Approximately 10–15+ years in water/wastewater with technical delivery and business development.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or eligibility to obtain WA licensure.
• Experience leading teams and delivering complex water/wastewater projects.
• Strong leadership, client relationships, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with Washington municipal clients, funding mechanisms, and regulatory environment.
• Experience managing design project delivery and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with design and project management software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new water/wastewater work for municipal and private clients.
• Build client relationships and position Ardurra as a trusted regional partner.
• Lead proposal strategy, presentations, and negotiations to win projects.
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of treatment plants, conveyance systems, and pumping stations.
• Serve as principal-in-charge and mentor staff across Puget Sound offices.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors for innovative solutions.
• Support recruiting, staffing, and succession planning for the group.
• Ensure QA/QC, risk management, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, regulators, and industry events.
