City Of Reynoldsburg is seeking a water utility worker to perform daily maintenance and repair of water meters, valves, hydrants and distribution systems. The role requires CDL training by the City, and incumbents may handle on-call duties as needed.

The position involves reading meters, assisting the public, and performing related duties while adhering to safety standards and city policies.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of Construction, Utility, Maintenance, Repair and/or Inspection experience.
• Valid Ohio Class A CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 12 months; City provides training.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, test, and repair water meters including remote reading devices.
• Maintain and repair water distribution components and fire hydrants.
• Operate heavy equipment and use shop/hand tools.
• Assist the public by providing routine information and responding to questions.
