Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid class B CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the Underground Utilities or related field is desirable.
• Possession or ability to possess Ohio EPA Class I Distribution license within 18 months of hire.
• Maintain residency as required by the City.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair the City’s water distribution system.
• Perform field duties, assignments, and repairs as part of the crew.
• May work within any part of the Underground Utilities department as directed by the Foreman.
• Provide reliable delivery of utility services, respond promptly to emergencies outside normal hours.
