City of Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a semi-skilled maintenance worker to perform hands-on repair and maintenance of water and water reclamation equipment and facilities. The role requires dexterity and the ability to work under supervision while potentially leading a crew of laborers.

Responsibilities include operating power tools, lubricating equipment, reading gauges, and performing scheduled maintenance. Candidates should have at least six months in a related field and the ability to obtain a

Qualificações

• Six months experience as a laborer or in construction or related field.
• Ability to obtain or currently possess a Valid Class B, or Higher, CDL.

Responsabilidades

• Uses power bench tools (saws, pipe threader, welders, drill press) for repair and maintenance.
• Lubricates and inspects equipment and reads meters and gauges.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Repairs and assists with repair of malfunctioning equipment and assists with installation of new equipment.
• Reconditions deep wells, pulls from ground and repairs or replaces worn parts; maintains reservoirs and booster stations.
• Operates various trucks, air compressors, hoists and other equipment in utility assignments.
• Performs related work as required.
