Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Utility Worker based in Westerville, OH to operate and maintain water distribution and sewer facilities, read maps and GIS data, and perform customer service tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 100 lbs, and a CDL-A or license within six months. EPA licenses are required or obtainable within 24 months. Overtime and emergency shifts may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains water distribution and sewer facilities, including meters and valves.
• Reads maps, drawings and GIS data to locate mains, services and facilities.
• Performs Customer Service, Meter Reading and Treatment Plant Operations as assigned.
• Responds to after-hours calls and overtime as required.
• Ensures compliance with OEPA and PUCO regulations and company safety policies.
