Job summary

Fishbeck in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will support the W/WW team in design and evaluation of water and wastewater systems, gaining hands-on experience with current projects.

You'll collaborate with engineers across offices, observe site conditions, and learn how infrastructure choices impact communities and the environment. Enrollment in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required and a proactive mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
• Previous internship or project experience in water/wastewater is helpful but not required.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to meaningful work.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and evaluation of water and wastewater systems.
