STV is seeking an enthusiastic Water/Wastewater Intern to join our team in Houston. This hybrid internship requires at least three days in the office, with preference for a commitment of at least three months and potential for full-time work after the internship.

You will support hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, and costing efforts while gaining exposure to project management, client interfaces, and business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Responsabilités

• Support pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
• Assist in pump calculations and system curves for sizing pumps.
• Prepare construction and design cost estimates under senior guidance.
• Plan and design water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.
• Assist in planning water/wastewater facility projects including pump stations and treatment plants.
• Gain exposure to project management, client interface, and business development for future projects.
• Conduct site visits during design and construction to observe installations.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design documents.
• Perform other tasks to support project goals and team objectives.
