Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Professional Engineer to support utility master planning and hydraulic modeling projects in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. You will develop and calibrate models for water distribution, sanitary sewers, and water reuse systems, and engage with clients through meetings and proposals.

The ideal candidate has a PE license and 5+ years of experience, with proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and hydraulic modeling software.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligible license required.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a project team.
• Experience in utility hydraulic modeling and infrastructure design.
• Background in water/wastewater master planning and hydraulic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and calibrate water and wastewater hydraulic models.
• Perform GIS data analysis and alternatives analysis.
• Contribute to capital project development, cost estimates and proposals.
• Mentor project teams and participate in QA/QC activities.
