Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water / Wastewater Professional Engineer to support hydraulic modeling and master planning projects in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. The role may be based in Fulton, MD, or other HDR offices in the region.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in utility hydraulics, proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, and strong client interaction and proposal development skills. This is an employee-owned, collaborative environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or able to obtain
• MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in utility hydraulic modeling and infrastructure engineering design

Responsibilities

• Develop and calibrate water and wastewater hydraulic models
• Perform GIS data analysis and alternatives analysis
• Assist with project budgeting, proposals, and scope development
• Lead project teams and ensure quality assurance/quality control
