Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water / Wastewater Professional Engineer to join our team of Engineers, Scientists and Project Managers to support projects for HDR clients in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. This position can be based out of Fulton, MD or other HDR offices in Washington DC, Vienna, Newport News, or Virginia Beach.

The ideal candidate will deliver utility master planning, design and hydraulic modeling for water distribution and sewer systems; develop calibrated hydraulic models, perform GIS data

Qualifications

• PE license required or to be licensed in location of the position.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a project team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and calibrate hydraulic models for water distribution, sanitary sewer, and water reuse systems.
• Perform GIS data analysis and alternatives analysis.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates; support client meetings and presentations.
