Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Missouri. The role involves performing complex water-focused studies and designs, and serving as a technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects.

You will supervise a small team and collaborate with colleagues to deliver compliant, sustainable water solutions across communities. A PE license and 3+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience performing technical studies and design for water-focused projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for results.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a project team.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assignments evaluating engineering techniques and procedures.
• Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures.
• Function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects.
