Job summary

Jobot is seeking a client-facing engineer to design water and wastewater infrastructure in the Pittsburgh area, taking projects from concept through construction and coordinating with municipalities and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
• PE license preferred or strong interest in licensure.
• Experience with water/wastewater infrastructure design and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare engineering calculations, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Develop designs for water distribution, sanitary sewer, pump stations, treatment systems, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Support permitting, technical evaluations, field assessments, and construction administration activities.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate technical solutions and project updates to clients.
• Take ownership of project deliverables while supporting junior engineers and designers.
