Job summary
Robert G. Campbell and Associates (RGC&A) seeks an experienced civil engineer to join the site design team on primarily onsite work across NC, SC, and TN. You will apply civil and environmental design principles to water/wastewater projects, perform hydraulic modeling, and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and PE licensure. CAD/Civil 3D, Carlson, Haestad, and GIS skills are essential.
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience and PE licensure (licensed in FL, NC, SC, or TN, or via reciprocity).
- Proficiency with Haestad or similar modeling software; CAD platforms such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation; GIS proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design and analysis of water and wastewater facilities and distribution systems.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain approvals.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver turnkey site design solutions.
- Support project managers in budgeting, scheduling, and fund applications.
- Mentor new staff to grow the utility design team.
