Job summary
Robert G. Campbell and Associates is seeking an enterprising Water / Wastewater Design Engineer to join our site design team.
This role is primarily onsite with teams based in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, and may involve travel to project sites. You will apply civil and environmental design principles to public and private water/wastewater projects, including treatment facilities, distribution, lift stations, asset management, and permitting, while collaborating with project
Qualifications
- Proficiency with water distribution and wastewater systems.
- Experience with topographic surveys.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and calculations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within budgets and schedules.
- PE licensure in FL/NC/SC/TN or reciprocity; ABET-accredited degree.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze water/wastewater facilities and networks.
- Obtain regulatory approvals from agencies.
- Support private and local government clients.
- Assist PM with funding applications.
- Collaborate with site development, survey, and inspection staff.
- Perform field investigations and data collection.
- Mentor new staff to grow the utility design team.
