Job summary

Robert G. Campbell and Associates is seeking an enterprising Water / Wastewater Design Project Manager to lead design, modeling, and project delivery for public and private water and wastewater systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with existing clients and staff while performing site investigations and environmental considerations. The position is primarily onsite with some flexibility for home work; requires strong project management, budgeting, and regulatory liaison skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline from ABET accredited university
• PE licensure in the states listed or eligible for licensure via reciprocity
• Proficiency with Haestad or similar water/wastewater modeling software and CAD platforms
• GIS proficiency or aptitude to learn on the job
• Ability to develop project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules
• Experience managing multiple projects and creating bidding documents
• Liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
• U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of water/wastewater facilities, distribution, and collection networks
• Identify funding opportunities with public clients and assist with applications
• Model water and sewer systems and create system maps
• Collaborate with private and government clients to deliver turn-key projects
• Conduct field investigations, data collection, and site inspections
• Coordinate with site development, survey, and inspection staff
• Prepare environmental impact studies
• Mentor and develop junior staff on the utility design team
