Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) seeks a civil/environmental engineer to join our site design team. This role is primarily onsite, collaborating with teams across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee to deliver water and wastewater projects.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with Haestad, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation, and GIS.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience and PE licensure (states: FL/NC/SC/TN or via reciprocity).
HAESTAD or similar modeling software; comfortable in CAD platforms (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation).
GIS proficiency or aptitude to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of water/wastewater facilities, distribution systems, and collection networks.
Work with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals.
Collaborate with private and local government clients.
Assist the project manager in identifying funding opportunities and applications.
Coordinate with site development, survey, and inspection staff for turnkey projects.
Perform field investigations, data collection, and site inspections.
Mentor new staff to grow the utility design team.
Proficient in water distribution and wastewater collection systems; conduct hydraulic modeling.
