Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field from ABET accredited engineering program
• 0-5 years of experience in civil engineering or related field
• Proficient in discipline specific design software such as VMG Symmetry, Promax, DNV Phast
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with alternative studies
• Analyze P&IDs, drawings, equipment datasheets, aerial photography and other data to complete a task
• Perform design computations
• Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools
• Assist with developing the project quantities for construction cost estimate
• Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
• Perform other related duties as assigned
