Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is a dynamic, 100% employee-owned engineering and multidisciplinary services firm serving public agencies and private clients nationwide. The position focuses on engineering design using general principles to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments.

Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position, except for TN visa eligibility. This role requires an ABET-accredited degree and up to 5 years of related experience, with proficiency in design

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field from ABET accredited engineering program.
0–5 years of experience in civil engineering or related field.
Proficient in discipline specific design software such as VMG Symmetry, Promax, DNV Phast.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with alternative studies.
Analyze P&IDs, drawings, equipment datasheets, aerial photography and other data to complete a task.
Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools.
Assist with developing the project quantities for construction cost estimate.
Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
