Job summary

InterAgency Inc. is seeking a Practice Lead to establish and grow our water and wastewater engineering practice in the DC region.

This role involves pursuing new business, setting technical standards, hiring engineers, and serving as the primary technical authority on our water/wastewater work. You will lead teams in planning, design, and program management for conveyance projects, oversee client interactions, and help shape proposals and scopes of work while building the practice across DC,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• PE license (DC/MD/VA preferred).
• 15+ years in water and wastewater conveyance.
• Experience leading technical teams and client-facing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the water and wastewater engineering practice, directing design, planning, and program management.
• Provide senior technical oversight for deliverables prepared by staff and partners.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and client communications on active task orders.
