Job summary

Kokosing, a leading general contractor, is seeking a Field Manager to supervise skilled trades on large Michigan projects, from water/wastewater to factories. You will coordinate crews, manage safety, and drive on-site productivity.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 6+ years field experience, with strong planning, scheduling and cost control skills; you will work with Area Manager and Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience progressing from journeyman to foreman to superintendent.
• 6+ years of field management in heavy civil/industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead foremen to work safely, productively, and with quality.
• Set and manage 90-day and 3-week schedules.
• Assist PM with Primavera P6 scheduling.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, and material needs for crews.
• Oversee subcontractors and cost management.
