Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field execution of complex water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects. The role requires coordinating self-perform and subcontracted work, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality across projects in municipal and industrial facilities.

You will mentor project teams, work closely with project management, owners, engineers and subcontractors through all phases, from planning to turnover, while tracking manpower, equipment

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Experience as Superintendent, General Superintendent, or Lead Superintendent on treatment plant projects.
• Understanding of concrete structures, process piping, mechanical systems, equipment installation, and site civil work.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex construction activities.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, safety programs, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities for water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Coordinate and supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules to support overall project milestones.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead daily planning meetings and coordinate field operations to maximize productivity.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure work is executed correctly.
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues, conflicts, and constructability challenges.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, and Inspectors.
• Track manpower, equipment, production rates, and project progress.
• Assist with commissioning, startup, and turnover activities.
