Job summary

MWH Constructors, Inc. in Fort Myers, FL seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support engineering, coordination, and construction of civil, architectural and structural packages for a new WWTP and RO water treatment plant expansion.

You will report to the Senior PM and help ensure work stays on budget and schedule per contract documents. Key duties include procurement support, change management, schedule updates, submittals, RFIs, quality and safety compliance, and coordinating with trade

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, construction management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in project engineering, site supervision or trade package management in heavy civil/buildings.
• Experience reading drawings, specifications, and basic construction principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to Project Managers and Site Superintendents.
• Assist in procurement and contract management for trades and materials.
• Coordinate change management and review cost estimates for changes.
• Support scheduling with trade contractors and program schedule team.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and As-Built drawings with engineering.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
