Job summary

MWH Constructors, Inc. in Florida is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support civil, architectural and structural work on a WWTP expansion. You will report to the Senior PM and help deliver on budget, schedule and quality per contract documents.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years supervising heavy civil construction, strong coordination skills, and proven safety leadership. This role requires managing subcontractors, reviewing schedules, and ensuring site compliance and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience supervising heavy civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of civil, mechanical, and related construction disciplines.
• Cost control, manpower planning and scheduling knowledge.
• Ability to develop and maintain relations with Owner and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise major work activities including site work, concrete, and equipment installation.
• Plan and supervise employees and subcontractors' activities and schedules.
• Coordinate work with different subcontractors and ensure alignment with drawings and schedule.
• Monitor safety program compliance and implement corrective measures.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and contract compliance.
