Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support civil, architectural, and structural work for a new WWTP and RO Water Treatment Plant expansion in Fort Myers, FL. You will assist in budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract management under the Senior PM, ensuring compliance with contract documents and engineering standards.

The role requires oversight of site activities, coordination across subcontractors, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery to

Qualifications

5+ years of experience supervising heavy civil construction projects.
Knowledge of civil, mechanical disciplines and related trades.
Cost control, manpower planning and scheduling knowledge.
Experience with document control and MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
Ability to build strong relationships with Owners and subcontractors.
Experience with punch list closeout.

Responsibilities

Supervise major work activities including site work, concrete structures, and equipment installation.
Plan and supervise workers and subcontractors; review construction methods and schedules.
Coordinate work with different subcontractors and internal teams.
Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and schedule.
Monitor safety compliance and implement corrective actions.
Maintain project materials, inspections, and equipment to support the schedule.
Review daily activity plans to ensure efficient, safe progress.
