The City of Florence is seeking a Compliance Specialist for Water/Wastewater to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards governing water and wastewater operations in Alabama. You will monitor activities, review processes, and help implement compliance programs.

You will prepare required reports and coordinate submissions to regulatory agencies, while collaborating with the Water/Wastewater Manager to address findings and improve compliance across the department.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards for water/wastewater operations.
• Preparing and submitting reports to the appropriate regulatory agency or Water/Wastewater Manager in a timely manner.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager.
