Job summary

City of Clemson is seeking a Utilities Compliance role to support the Water, Wastewater Collection, and Stormwater Divisions. The position involves maintenance, inspections, hydrant flushing, sampling, and records management under supervision.

The role requires basic machinery operation, adherence to safety practices, and cooperation with the Utilities Compliance Manager. On-site work with potential on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be competent with Word, Access, Excel and ESRI GIS.

Responsibilities

• Performs building cleaning, maintenance, and groundskeeping for the treatment plant and booster pump site.
• Maintains daily records on work tasks and materials used; reports to supervisor.
• Assists with inspections, water sampling and backflow prevention programs.
• Operates a variety of equipment and vehicles; performs basic maintenance.
• Addresses customer inquiries and safety concerns.
