Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wastewater regulations and environmental compliance procedures.
• Ability to collect, evaluate, analyze and interpret scientific or technical data.
• Ability to conduct field inspections and investigations in various weather and terrain conditions.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and train others.
• Knowledge of field sampling techniques for soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex facility inspections and determine enforcement actions.
• Develop training materials for staff and regulated facilities.
• Serve as subject matter expert for wastewater regulations.
• Perform compliance reviews and field investigations.
• Coordinate enforcement actions and provide technical assistance and outreach to facilities and internal staff.
