McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our Water Civil preconstruction team in Phoenix, Dallas, or St. Louis offices.

You will lead the preparation of civil estimates for water and wastewater treatment plant projects, focusing on earthwork, sitework, and yard piping. The role involves developing cost models, performing quantity take-offs, and supporting bid reviews and owner presentations while collaborating with engineers and subcontractors to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Architecture, or Engineering required.
• Self-perform civil experience strongly desired.
• Water/wastewater project experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil cost models and GMP estimates for CMAR/Design Build projects
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Assist with estimate reviews and owner presentations
• Evaluate bids and create scope comparison documents
• Prepare subcontract exhibits and coordinate with subcontractors
• Collaborate with engineers to influence project design
• Build relationships with subcontractors, vendors and clients
