Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Estimating Manager for our Water Civil preconstruction team. The role supports estimating, quantity take-offs, bid development, and GMP estimates for water/wastewater projects nationwide from our Phoenix, Dallas, or St.

Louis offices. You will lead civil estimate preparation for earthwork, sitework, and yard piping, collaborating with engineers and clients to deliver accurate, on-time bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of estimating, design management or field management experience.
• Self-perform civil experience desired, especially in water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop or manage civil cost models and GMP estimates for CMAR/Design Build projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and evaluate bids.
• Prepare exhibits for subcontracts and coordinate with vendors/subcontractors.
• Collaborate with engineers to influence project design and scope.
