LJA Civil Engineering Intern - Water/Wastewater in Dallas offers hands-on experience across office, field, and behind-the-scenes work. You’ll collaborate with leaders and gain exposure to diverse clients and services while building practical engineering knowledge.

You will support ongoing projects, learn project phases, and perform assignments under supervision. A strong academic track and eagerness to learn are valued.

Qualifications

• Candidate has completed at least one year of college and is pursuing a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to learn about the company and industry.
• Good organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments with direction from experienced engineers.
• Shadow operations and learn project phases.
• Support larger projects with unique assignments and daily engineering tasks.
