Job summary

HDR, Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 internship with our Water Business Group in Dallas, focusing on Water/Wastewater. You will participate in real-world projects and learn standard engineering techniques under supervision.

Eligible candidates are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program, with attention to detail and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preference given to Civil/Environmental/ Biological & Agricultural Engineering tracks, and

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
Attention to detail required.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills required.
Basic Microsoft Office skills expected.
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred: Civil, Environmental, or Biological & Agricultural Engineering focus for Summer 2027.
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA

Responsibilities

Participate in real-world experience on exciting projects
Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs
Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
Perform other duties as needed
