Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to lead design efforts for water and wastewater treatment projects in the Southwest Texas region. You will oversee work from concept through construction, liaising with clients and a multidisciplinary team to deliver compliant, innovative solutions.

The role requires a TX PE with 4+ years of civil design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to project management.

Qualifications

• Professional engineer registration in TX, with ability to obtain NM & OK.
• Minimum 4 years of civil design experience; water and wastewater treatment preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices and trends.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish within time, cost and resources.
• Excellent organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design through construction of civil treatment projects.
• Conduct site visits and assessments.
• Meet with clients to understand project needs and preferences.
• Develop design concepts and drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and other consultants.
• Present designs to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Explore new design concepts and emerging technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
