Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our Treatment sector in Texas. You will oversee civil design and water/wastewater projects from concept to construction, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions.

The role emphasizes design development, site visits, and coordination with engineers, architects, and consultants. We value detail orientation, teamwork, and a client-focused mindset in a full-time, exempt position.

Qualifications

• TX PE license and ability to obtain NM & OK registrations.
• 4+ years civil design experience, water/wastewater preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS.
• Strong understanding of project management and scheduling.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with non-engineers and present plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering efforts from design through construction on civil treatment projects.
• Conduct site visits and assessments.
• Participate in meetings with clients to understand project needs.
• Develop design concepts and proposals, creating detailed drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and other consultants.
• Present designs to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Explore new design concepts, incorporating emerging technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
