Job summary

FPG Water Division is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to grow profitable relationships with water utilities and partners in KY/IN. You will promote Badger Meter flow meters, AMR/AMI data systems, and analytics to meet customer needs and drive revenue.

You will work with inside sales, support staff, and manufacturers, travel within the territory, and develop product knowledge to become the go-to resource for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience selling analytical products.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
• Technical degree or relevant technical background for credibility with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop profitable customer relationships in the water/wastewater market in a team-based sales role.
• Meet with existing customers to maintain accounts and educate on new products.
• Meet new prospects to explain how operations can improve using Badger Meter products.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to address customer needs.
• Provide technical solutions in response to customer inquiries.
• Build product/app knowledge through training and hands-on work in the first 6–12 months.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with inside sales and factory support.
