Job summary

Hope Water is seeking a qualified professional to support operation, maintenance, and performance of water and wastewater systems. The role involves monitoring performance, reviewing reports, and assisting with SOPs, preventive maintenance, and emergency response planning.

You will work with Operations Managers, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to asset management, capital projects, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of water treatment, production, storage, and distribution systems; wastewater collection and treatment systems; utility asset management; maintenance practices; SCADA, telemetry, instrumentation, and control systems; and applicable federal, state, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of budget development, financial management, procurement processes, contract administration, OSHA requirements, confined space entry procedures, and utility safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and performance of water and wastewater systems.
• Monitor system performance and maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable services.
• Assist with SOPs, preventive maintenance programs, and emergency plans.
• Review operational reports, work orders, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and permits.
